Telephone Call Backs

When you have a GP or Clinician telephone appointment please can you ensure that you have your mobile with you at all times and that it is not on silent. Those without a mobile will need to be close to their landline. The GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will ring at least twice. Some patients are phoning repeatedly to check they’ve not missed their call. This is putting more pressure on staff and the phone system.

When asking for a telephone appointment please be aware that we can not be specific with a time we will only advise you that the clinician will call AM or PM.
