Test results are received from the laboratories during the morning and unless it is urgent can take up to 3-5 days for the results to be reported to us.
Please call for test results after 11am.
Abnormal result –
If your result is found to be abnormal then we will contact you and advise you of any action to be taken; this could be that the doctor or nurse would like to see you, further tests are required, or that a prescription has been issued.
Normal result –
We will not contact you if the result is normal or doesn’t require further action but we would advise you to contact the surgery after 5-7 days to confirm that the result has been received.
